3rd graders continue to work hard and do their best each day!  It was wonderful to see the many parents and students who attended the open house for Catholic Schools Week.  The students were very proud of their saint puppets and reports displayed in the church hall.  They all did a wonderful job!

In Reading, we have started our new unit on Animal Habitats.  The stories we will be reading are, Nights of the Pufflings, Seal Surfer, and Two Days in May.

In Math, we have continued exploring and understanding multiplication and division.  We are providing many opportunities for students to learn their multiplication facts, through the use of memorization, music, videos, and several math board games.

In Science, we are begining  our chapter on the Solar System which coincides with our next field trip.  More information will be coming soon! 

In Social Studies, students enjoyed learning about Old and New Communities which including the Navajo, the Yurok, the Cherokee, and the Haudensosaunee. 

In Religion, during the season of Lent, students have
made Lenten promises and as a class have prayed the
stations of the cross.
