Catholic Schools Week is a time to call attention to the amazing environment known as Catholic education! Let’s rally to make this week a special event that proclaims the greatness of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School and all Catholic schools!


  • SUNDAY 25TH: Open House – 1:30pm - Gather in Church Hall for Welcoming Presentation, a special blessing, slide show, and background of OLM with an emphasis on the celebration of OLM’s 60th Jubilee. Tours and Classroom Visits & Reception follow until 3:00pm
  • MONDAY 26TH: Parish & Community Appreciation Day; Special Prayers at Morning Assembly; Classes make Appreciation Posters, Cards, and letters for our Community Partners, Friends, Sponsors, etc.
  • TUESDAY 27TH: Parent Appreciation Day; Morning Assembly with special prayers for Parents/Families; Morning Hospitality for Parents in the School’s Main Hallway; Displays of Historical photos and albums
  • WEDNESDAY 28TH: Staff Appreciation Day – special treats throughout the day; School Mass at 9:00am with Fr. Brian Costello celebrating and the Student Council Hosting
  • THURSDAY 29TH: Grandparents Day/Very Special Person DayMorning Assembly with special blessing; Morning Hospitality served by Student Council in Church Hall Kitchen; Classroom visits 9:30 – 11:00am; 11:00am, close of day for Special Visitors; Visitors are invited to the Spelling Bee for Grades 1 – 3 @ 11:00am in the Church Hall
  • FRIDAY 30TH: Student Appreciation Day; Bulldog Spirit Day – “Dapper” Dress from 20’s, 30’s, 40’s; Honor Assembly for Grades 6 – 7 – 8 at 2:00pm in the Church Hall
